His work has been featured in publications from the New York Times, the Washington Post, and various national magazines to the Fairhope Courier. He says, “I photograph people. My goal is to make the best photographs of my subjects that they have ever had made. Photographing events, portraits, and my community is my passion.” Savage has won many awards for his photography and his film making. He has an Art History degree from George Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Fine Art Photography from Spring Hill College. He taught at Spring Hill College for twenty years and has been an instructor at Eastern Shore Art Center where he is now in his 21st year.
